Save the Date Jane & Joe
For this design, the main briefing was to follow the color theme from the wedding, based on pastel pinks and oranges from flowers. I played with watercolor stains to create a feminine wavy background reminding flower petals. To give a more graphic touch, I added thin green lines that vibrate with the whole design, giving it a magic touch.
Birth announcement Ava
I’m fond of writing letters with nature elements. The parents wanted to have this concept for the card, with the theme of Fall and red maple leaves. The back of the card shows a black-and-white picture of the baby with leaves flying around. Everything was made by hand, even the typography.
Birth announcement “Auf ins Abenteuer”
The parents requested an illustration of their (soon-to-arrive) baby. After brainstorming together, we came to the idea of the baby sitting in a crib, and flying in the sky. I provided them with a little extra, a small alien in a spaceship, that they used for the stamp.
