Ahoi! is a café and organic shop based in Zürich. They needed a logo that convey the idea of nature, eco-friendliness and home-made style while keeping it simple and friendly. The interior design of the café being made with wood and black paint, the client absolutely wanted a logo in black. I took inspiration from the wooden texture and the print style of potato stamps to create the logo. Both typographies used are handmade. Like a cartoon bubble, the round shape of the logo looks like a cartoon bubble welcoming the passers-by.
